This is a listing of agency specific term contracts that were handled by this office for a specific agency or agencies. They were not handled as statewide term contracts since our records do not reflect a need on a statewide basis. However, some government entities may have smaller quantity needs where it would be beneficial to have this information.
We have had numerous requests for this type information, either for use by a government entity as a reference, benchmark, specifications, or to pursue an actual purchase from the awarded vendor. NOTE: The awarded vendors are not obligated to sell to other government entities under the contracts listed. It is the responsibility of the government entity to ensure that their purchasing statutes and rules are complied with if they decide, and the vendor agrees, to complete a transaction per one of these contracts. Also important to note, is that the prices listed in these contracts include transportation charges to a specific location in the State and may not be applicable to your entity if delivery is needed to a different location.
The rules for State agencies, departments, institutions, community colleges, and universities, does permit waiver of competition where "a purchase is being made and a satisfactory price is available from a previous contract" (See 1NCAC 5B, Section .1400). The decision to do this has to be based on the individual circumstances, such as quantity, price, specifications, etc.
The information given is not as detailed as that given on our website for statewide term contracts. We recommend that you first contact the vendor for information, etc, and if additional information is needed, contact the P&C purchaser listed for each contract.
Unless otherwise noted, each contract listed is an E-Procurement contract. However, these contracts are not currently loaded in the E-Procurement System.
